What is a SMART Repair?
It is a technique used for repairing cosmetic damage on a localised area of a vehicle on the panel that has been damaged. SMART repair uses specialist tools and materials blending the paint into the surrounding area rather than having to re-paint the entire panel in most instances, saving you time and money.
Why choose a SMART repair?
The benefits of SMART repairs are that they are usually cheaper than going to a Bodyshop, because only a small area has to be repaired. Don't be put off by the low price – it shouldn't mean you get a low quality job

The price varies dependant on the complexity of the damage including the condition, size and location.
Where possible we aim to remove dents via alternative methods including using glue pulling, and for more stubborn damage pin pulling on steel bodywork, we will only place filler in the panels as a method to gain a final surface where required, for substantial damage we also work alongside a Paintless Dent removal company when possible, before painting to reduce the need for the use of filler and keep cars OEM to ensure warranties and the longevity of the repair.
This depends on the work required, the company has travelled across Sussex and Kent dependant on the job at hand, for smaller work we remain as local as possible to keep costs down for our customers.
Most modern vehicle plastic trims and bumpers are repairable due to the use of Thermo plastics at the point of manufacture, at JCAutopaintworks we are able to repair these from start to finish using industry leading technology, if you are unsure of whether we can help, send us a message and we will will happily review and provide you an estimate.
